it's currently undergoing a full-fledged recode on Godot! stay tuned NSaFers!

After 10 years of silence at Freddy's, they're back. Budget limitations forced them to scavenge items in the older location & other sites, eventually coming across antique relics in perfect condition. In their latest attempt to retrieve goods, they stumbled upon an unseen-before mascot.

Play as Sarah as you try to fend them off despite a remarkably unhelpful phone guy.

Released on Christmas 2025

NSaF EU is a practice project & fan recode/remaster to the 2017–2018 Night Shift at Freddy's Rebooted by psonday. This recode acts as a continuation of the Easter Update (v5.2.3) while adding QOL changes, an improved & expanded gameplay loop, a bit more replayability, restored minigames & overall cohesion with the other NSaF games.

Some design choices were inspired by Mary's Arcade Classic.

I liked the original game's take on an alternate FNaF 1. It's interesting how the vent in Classic eventually turned into a back hall in later remakes. This might be because of psonday's nagging spite for realism in his fangames. It's showing with the direction the Mary's Arcade games are taking. The NSaF series also seems to have taken after Scribby's games, since their fangames share this mysterious "7" easter egg in the MFAs for Remastered & 2. Scribby was credited in the NSaF games, after all. psonday was also credited in a few Fazbear Return games. The original games (since Remastered) had this overarching plot of the NSaF 2 animatronics making a return on the first game.

I made this in a month after realizing that my previous NSaF 2 recode wasn't going to get much far from limitations in the source material (there's also the successful 60-image scrolling as a desperate attempt to make it really look 3D...) My code was pretty novice there too, so the game was riddled with bugs & bottlenecks. I might take it back though!

I tried to modernize the game while also fishing back some charmy aspects from NSaF Remastered (the better game, athmosphere-wise) so as to fill that gap that was left in Rebooted. The original actually had two different versions for the jumpscares between versions, so in a recode with limited assets I clearly took advantage of this. (thanks Heisenbergus!)

The lore in this game, represented through hard-to-access minigames since Classic and Gamejolt devlogs, has been faithfully restored with a minor, sensical retcon.

The jumpscare sound in this game is derived from the NSaF 2 one since all three in Classic, Remastered and Rebooted stink. Classic's isn't inherently bad, it's just FNaF 2's.

The original credits mentioned the following:

  • Kane Carter for help in sound and game design
